SUNBLOC LLC — TERMS OF SERVICE Last Updated: May 20, 2026

Welcome to Sunbloc LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, instructional webcourse, community forum, and solar design software tools (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the Platform and must discontinue access immediately.

1. Intellectual Property
All content hosted on or delivered through the Platform — including but not limited to instructional videos, software code, design logic, mathematical algorithms, calculators, graphics, text, logos, course structures, and community-facing materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Sunbloc LLC and is protected under applicable United States copyright, trademark, and intellectual property law.
a. License Grant Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sunbloc LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for your own personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
b. No Redistribution You are strictly prohibited from copying, downloading, screen-recording, reproducing, modifying, sublicensing, or redistributing any Platform content — including video content, course materials, and design tool outputs — whether through online or offline means, and whether for commercial gain or otherwise.
c. Copyright Enforcement Sunbloc LLC retains full copyright ownership over all video and course content. Our right to enforce copyright and demand immediate removal of infringing material — including through DMCA takedown notices and legal action — applies equally to any content from which our branding, watermarks, or identifying information has been altered, cropped, obscured, or removed. The absence of visible branding does not diminish our ownership or our right to enforce it.

2. Prohibited Conduct and System Security
To protect the integrity of the Platform and the proprietary technology underlying it, you agree not to engage in any of the following:
a. Data Scraping and Unauthorized Harvesting You may not use automated bots, scrapers, spiders, crawlers, scripts, or any manual or automated process to harvest, extract, mine, or reproduce content, code, video files, text, design outputs, or community data from the Platform without prior written authorization from Sunbloc LLC.
b. Reverse Engineering You agree not to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive, copy, or reconstruct the underlying design logic, formulas, algorithms, or source code of the Sunbloc Solar Design Tool or any other proprietary software component of the Platform.
c. Unauthorized Access You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform, its servers, or any systems connected to it. You may not circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control features of the Platform.

3. Design Tool Outputs — Educational Use Only
The Sunbloc Solar Design Tool and associated calculators are built on logic derived from the National Electrical Code (NEC), including Articles 690, 250, and 310, and are designed to guide users through an NEC-informed design process. However, tool outputs are provided for educational and planning purposes only and do not constitute a professional engineering certification or a guarantee of code compliance for any specific installation. Outputs generated by the tool: including system size recommendations, component specifications, wire gauge estimates, and load calculations are not a substitute for a licensed electrical engineer's review, a professional system design, or verification of compliance with applicable electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), or any state, county, or municipal permitting requirements.
You acknowledge and agree that:
-
Tool outputs are estimates based on the inputs you provide and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific installation;
-
Sunbloc LLC does not certify, warrant, or represent that any design produced using the Platform meets any applicable code, permitting, or safety standard;
-
You bear sole responsibility for verifying all design outputs with a qualified licensed professional before undertaking any electrical installation.
4. Assumption of Risk — DIY Electrical Installation
You acknowledge that off-grid solar system installation involves work with high-voltage direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) electrical systems, which carry inherent risks of serious injury, death, fire, and property damage if performed improperly.
By using this Platform, you expressly acknowledge that:
-
Sunbloc LLC's course materials and design tools are educational resources and do not constitute professional electrical engineering services or licensed contractor services;
-
Completion of Sunbloc LLC's course does not confer any license, certification, or professional qualification;
-
You assume full and sole responsibility for any installation work you perform or direct, including compliance with applicable codes, obtaining required permits, and engaging licensed professionals where required by law;
-
Sunbloc LLC is not liable for any injury, death, property damage, equipment failure, or financial loss arising from or related to your use of the Platform or your reliance on any course content or tool output.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUNBLOC LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that any information or output provided through the Platform is accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for any specific purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE ARIZONA AND FEDERAL LAW, SUNBLOC LLC, ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, AGENTS, AND ASSIGNS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON COURSE CONTENT, DESIGN TOOL OUTPUTS, OR COMMUNITY FORUM POSTS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SUNBLOC LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SUNBLOC LLC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
7. Community Forum Guidelines and Account Termination
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harmful, abusive, or inappropriate conduct on the Platform's community forum and discussion boards.
a. Acceptable Use You agree not to post, upload, or transmit any content that is harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. This includes targeted attacks against any individual, discriminatory statements, the promotion of illegal activity, or the dissemination of electrical advice that is unsafe, unqualified, or contrary to applicable codes and standards.
b. Termination Sunbloc LLC reserves the sole and absolute right to investigate suspected violations of these Terms and to suspend, terminate, or delete your account and revoke your access to the Platform, with or without prior notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct detrimental to the Platform or its users. Upon termination for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.
c. Survival Termination of your account does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination, including any outstanding payment obligations.
8. Beta Platform Acknowledgment
The Platform is currently operating in a beta phase. Features, pricing, course content, and tool functionality may be added, modified, or discontinued at any time. Sunbloc LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact Sunbloc LLC in writing at [support@sunblocproducts.com] and provide a detailed description of your dispute. The parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of thirty (30) days following receipt of written notice. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may pursue available legal remedies.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Arizona for the resolution of any dispute not resolved through the process described in Section 9.
11. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sunbloc LLC with respect to the Platform.
