SUNBLOC LLC — COMMUNITY GUIDELINES & ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY Last Updated: May 20, 2026
Welcome to the Sunbloc Beta Founding Member Community (the "Community"). This is a dedicated, high-value technical environment for off-grid builders, enthusiasts, and innovators to share knowledge, troubleshoot designs, and collaborate safely and productively.
All members are bound by this Acceptable Use Policy as a condition of their access to the Community. This Policy is incorporated into and governed by the Sunbloc LLC Terms of Service, which you agreed to upon joining the Platform. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control.
1. Zero-Tolerance Violations
Sunbloc LLC enforces a zero-tolerance policy for the following behaviors. Violations may result in immediate content removal, account restriction, or permanent community ban as described in Section 3.
a. Harassment and Toxicity Personal attacks, bullying, derogatory remarks, threats, or aggressive behavior directed at any member or the Sunbloc team are strictly prohibited, regardless of context or provocation.
b. Spam and Lead Scraping Using the Community, direct messaging features, or member directories to scrape user data, harvest contact information, farm leads, or distribute unsolicited commercial messages is strictly prohibited and may constitute a violation of applicable law.
c. Unsafe or Unverified Electrical Content Off-grid solar system design involves high-voltage DC and AC electrical systems, high-capacity battery banks, and inherent risks of fire, shock, and serious injury. Posting electrical advice, schematics, or installation guidance that is unsafe, factually incorrect, or contrary to the National Electrical Code (NEC) or basic industry safety standards is strictly prohibited — regardless of intent. Sunbloc LLC reserves the right to remove any content that, in our sole judgment, poses a risk to the safety of members or third parties, without prior notice and without any obligation to explain the removal.
2. Disclaimer on Member-Generated Content
The Community is a peer-to-peer forum. Sunbloc LLC does not review, verify, endorse, or assume any responsibility for the accuracy, safety, or code-compliance of content posted by members. Member-generated content — including electrical advice, system schematics, component recommendations, and installation guidance — reflects the views of the individual posting member only and does not represent the position or recommendations of Sunbloc LLC.
You rely on member-generated content entirely at your own risk. Always verify electrical advice against applicable NEC standards and consult a licensed professional before undertaking any installation work.
3. Commercial Restrictions and Partnership Policy
The Community is a pitch-free educational environment. Commercial solicitation of any kind is prohibited.
a. No Outside Solicitation Members may not market outside companies, post unsolicited affiliate or referral links, promote personal commercial services, or solicit other members for financial gain through any Community channel, including public posts and direct messages.
b. Sunbloc LLC Partnership Rights Sunbloc LLC reserves the exclusive right to introduce curated product or corporate partnerships within the Community. Any such partnerships are selected based on their educational relevance and practical utility to our members. The inclusion of any partner product or brand within the Community does not constitute an endorsement of that product's safety, performance, or fitness for any particular application. Members remain solely responsible for independently evaluating any product before purchase or use.
4. Content Moderation Rights
Sunbloc LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to:
-
Remove, edit, or hide any post, comment, schematic, or other content that violates this Policy or the Terms of Service;
-
Restrict a member's posting privileges temporarily or permanently;
-
Permanently revoke Community access as described in Section 5.
The exercise of these rights with respect to specific content does not obligate Sunbloc LLC to take any particular action regarding the posting member's account.
5. Enforcement and Penalty Structure
We are committed to protecting the integrity of the Community while honoring your paid access to the Platform's core educational products.
a. Community Ban If a member engages in harassment, spam, lead scraping, outside solicitation, or posts unsafe electrical content, Sunbloc LLC may permanently revoke that member's access to the Community. Upon a Community Ban:
-
The member's ability to post, comment, or interact with other members will be permanently disabled;
-
The member will retain full, private access to the core instructional webcourse videos and the Sunbloc Solar Design Tool and calculators;
-
The member will have no access to the social, collaborative, or peer interaction features of the Platform.
A Community Ban does not constitute a refund event and does not entitle the affected member to any full or partial refund of fees paid, as the core paid educational products remain accessible.
b. Request for Internal Review A member who believes a Community Ban was issued in error may submit a written request for internal review to [support@sunblocproducts.com] within fourteen (14) days of the ban. Sunbloc LLC will review the request and provide a written response within a reasonable time. This review process is conducted entirely at Sunbloc LLC's discretion, is non-binding, and does not constitute a formal appeals process or waiver of any rights under the Terms of Service.
6. Reporting Violations
If you observe conduct that violates this Policy, please report it to [support@sunblocproducts.com]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reporter identities will be kept confidential to the extent practicable.
